Role Summary/Purpose
The GE Healthcare IT Account Executive is responsible for HCIT Orders and Revenue growth by managing key influential buying relationships with a select group of clients within a specific geography, including new and existing large healthcare systems, influential community hospitals, and Healthcare investment/ insurance organizations. This role is responsible to grow share by understanding the customerâs strategic business objectives, and then work with regional and local members.
Essential Responsibilities
· Plans and executes an effective relationship strategy to gain customer mindshare and to create and maintain effective long-term business relationships at the senior level with key decision makers and influencers at assigned accounts.
· Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GEHC IT and competitive products and the value of their interoperability to the customer base. Brings the breadth of HCIT solutions and expertise to key accounts in the territory.
· Consistently communicate the GEHC IT Early-Health vision to the assigned accounts as a competitive differentiator and strategic advantage of total GEHC
· Generates leads and completes sale of assigned products, business solutions and services to customers within sales territory
· Qualifies assigned market activities efficiently and provide accurate and current forecast data, using sales tools available
· Captures, communicates internally and leverages market and competitive intelligence to grow market share.
· Communicates effectively with Sales/Marketing/Services team in order to continuously qualify and strengthen sales strategy and sales execution plan to successful closure·
· Develops account penetration strategies for target accounts and provide management with a quarterly report of achievements
· Creates and maintain consultative sales relationships with key buying influences in each account, including multiple levels within the customer’s organization including clinical staff, senior administration, physician, CIO.
· Organizes and leads product/solution/service demonstrations and site visits in cooperation with Sales Support, Prod. Mgmt., Consultants, etc. leveraging EAGM, EMEA and global resources.
· Analyzes and qualifies customer needs ahead of tender to gain customer mindshare and to derive differentiated solutions to purchase order.
· Prepares and coordinates tender responses and validation of tender documentation in cooperation with appropriate functions (Marketing, ITPS, Service, Legal, etc.)
