The Consumer Account Executive is responsible for developing the relationship with the distributors and retailers and driving implementation of the account strategy to maximize Dell sales. The incumbent needs to have a solid and in-depth understanding of the customer’s business drivers and use this knowledge to influence the partners activities for creating profitable business.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, manage & develop day-to-day relationship with assigned accounts.
• Responsible for routine on-site visits in designated area.
• Report partners performance, complete checklists, check product displays etc to ensure there is sufficient inventory. Liaise with partners staff and form professional relationships with each partner
• Responsible for training of partners employees on Dell products, sales techniques and technology
• Responsible for reviewing fixturing, visual merchandising, marcom material to drive traffic and ensure creative image.
• Responsible for store and product rollouts for designated retail stores. Develop and communicate all timelines associated with each retail (product) roll out
• Use historical and predictive data and reports to make forecasts and input into sales planning.
• Communicate timely, accurate and detailed work orders and progress reports on a regular basis to partner management.
• Drive activity at the store level to increase sales and other key business metrics while ensuring a goal of 100% customer satisfaction. Focus on driving activity to increase Dell’s market share.
• Identify low performing product lines and assist in the development of action plans to increase productivity.
• Ensure promotional programs are according to retail account agreement
• Manage escalated customer contacts
• Reports to General Manager Consumer for Middle East
