Jobs in UAE – This position is created to fulfill IDC in increasing focus on existing customers and developing new business contacts in the Middle East and Africa region. Reporting to the Business Development Manager for the Middle East & Africa, this role supports IDC’s rapidly growing client base in all areas of IT and telecommunications.

Responsibilities:

- Sales of IDC’s product portfolio, which includes local, regional, and global conferences;
- Sales of IDC’s product portfolio which includes all research products and consulting engagements;
- Proposal preparation for prospective clients;
- Client acquisition: contact and follow-up through telephone and on-site visits;
- Developing prospects and client profiling: developing new contacts and identifying major decision makers within the IT and telecoms industry;
- Local Development: identifying new business within the local user market;
- Financial monitoring and management of sales to assigned key clients, forecasts and submission of final results.
