Job Description:
– Must be able to lead team in developing application, development, network, and technical aspects.
– Their cliental architectures for large–scale support of client/server and mainframe applications
– Responsible for gathering and defining the architecture requirements and for ensuring that the architectures are compatible and in compliance with the appropriate IT organization and project standards
– Establish and maintain the strategic Enterprise Architecture at a system / subsystem level
– Establish, enforce and maintain Enterprise Architecture principles, standards and guidelines
– Ensure that the Enterprise Architecture blueprints support the needs of government entities and partners
– Ensure that the strategic Enterprise Architecture is effective.
– Provide strategic Enterprise Architecture research and consulting support
– Advise on options, cost–benefit analysis, risks, architecture technology and integration issues

Experience: 5 – 10 Years

Education: Ph.D

Responsibilities:
– Writing Statements of Work, review of techour cliental documentation, creating framework for Enterprise Integration
– Capture of As–Is architecture and Decision Support Requirements, development of To Be enterprise architecture and Implementation Plan, gap analysis, development of actionable work packages and estimates
– The EA will bring an enterprise–wide view and process orientation, as well as an understanding of the business, the technology and organizations, which support or execute the business strategy
– The EA will employ a variety of analytical tools to architect business and data models. The EA will support the development of the application and technology views of Enterprise Architectures
– The EA supports the development of the Enterprise Architecture Transition Plans and provides expert advice in business and data architectural approaches in support of mission critical and important business processes
– The EA works with techour cliental leads and the Program Management Office (PMO) to achieve the objectives outlined in SOW
– The EA prepares written and verbal reports and briefings

Skills:

– At least 10+ years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing large–scale IT systems
– At least 6 years of experience developing application, development, network, and techour cliental architectures for large–scale client/server and mainframe applications including z/OS
– Demonstrated ability to develop and execute architecture strategies, feasibility studies, and integration analyses
– Experience supervising and providing guidance in implementing various architectures
– Experience in business systems analysis, design, development, and implementation, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms and at the enterprise level all focused around Enterprise Architecture
– Strong background in software development methodologies processes and tools including Frameworks, CASE tools, RDBMSs and programming languages
– Experience in systems integration, package evaluation, selection, and implementation
– Experience in Enterprise Architecture and technology planning. Solid understanding of object–oriented concepts
– Experience in decomposing and describing system architectures using object modeling techniques and tools (UML).
– Up–to–date knowledge of technologies, technology trends and commercial packages
– Competency in evaluating vender and internal software architecture and functionality. Strong project management and execution skills
– A minimum B.A. or M.S. degree
