Jobs in UAE – Our client, leading provider of business information and events in the Middle East is seeking to recruit Area Manager-Supplements reporting to Sales Manager-Special Projects.Key Purpose As part of the commercial team, you are responsible for driving revenue for Supplements, identifying revenue streams from existing clients as well as new advertisers whilst delivering growth across your designated sectors areas. You will manage existing relationships with domestic and international clients and agencies ensuring increased profile of our products and exploiting new opportunities – both domestic and international Key Accountabilities As an Area Manager – Supplements you are responsible for all commercial aspects for identifying and delivering revenue streams ( existing and new ) for designated supplements and exceeding personal display income targets from your designated sectorsareas Identify, set and deliver sales strategy for each project – therefore enabling effective forecasting and management of your territory Complete sales brief business plan for your territory To work hand in hand with your sales manager ensuring satisfactory delivery of each Supplement To complete timely weekly reports of current revenue verses forecast and budget To monitor competitive media activity identifying new initiatives that can be translated to the company To maintain and exceed the specified Key Performance Indicators To deliver in excess of 12 effective telephone calls per day or 10 face to face meetings per week on a rolling monthly average To manage existing relationships with clients and agencies To complete call records and up-keep all client data and information on Maximiser To manage and oversee all sales for your designated country To meet and exceed revenue targets across all revenue streams – print, online, conferences, specials To work with other company's sales representatives to explore and generate additional revenues Report performance against sales strategy at weekly sales meeting with your Sales Manager To ensure effective prospecting of clients Contribute to broader sales effort on the company, mentoring younger team members and training off all sales staff Assist in sales training of team, attending appointments and imparting knowledge where appropriate.
