Our client, specialising in diversified banking products, is currently seeking an Area Sales Manager- Telecommunications. Your main function would be to increase the sales of Telecom products (e.g. SIM, Scratch card, Packaging, Applications) and other services in MENA region in coordination with Head of Sales MENA and in compliance with regional sales strategy.Your other job responsibilities would include Establishing and maintaining strong and firm relationship to customers and partners Gaining new operators and Introducing and explaining the company's product portfolio Attending to the customers during the complete business cycle and following up project milestones in close cooperation with Sales Administration Monitoring competitive activities, identifying customer future needs and building up a strong link to the Product Marketing Management Achieving minimum 100% fulfillment of assigned sales targets (e.g. Revenue, Gross margin and EBIT target) as well as company objectives for the allocated sales area Liaising and negotiating with very high ranking public and private sector staff Close deals and sign sales and maintain contracts with direct customers Updating CRM systems Customer Relationship Management (external- and internal customers), Calendar, Pipeline, Order and Management data Reporting and forecasting sales activities Monitoring and reporting competitor activities(describe their solutions, products, services, partners. Identify their alignment, strengths and weaknesses Being Involved in project cost calculation and project company risk management (Machines, hardware, network and related equipment, Software costs, Production people, Marketing and sales costs, Maintenance, Service centre and administration) Participating constructively in preparation of strategy plan and budget for the following year Attending as exhibitor, at GSM exhibitions, promoting our products and services
