Coordinates construction engineering activities with Construction Engineering Supervisor.

Liaises with other operational support groups to ensure clearly defined interfaces, deliverables and projects schedule.

Plans and controls construction engineering manpower, training/ development and assists in recruiting resources.

Provides guidance and leadership in all technical matters related to construction engineering

Plans construction engineering group development.

Keeps the Discipline Manager appraised of all activities and concerns.
Prepares construction reviews for bid proposals, including technical query reviews, execution statements .

Performs staff appraisals, identifies and provides training to staff in specific techniques and proprietary software.

Assists the Discipline Manager develop Level 2 procedures and check lists.

Assists the Discipline Manager maintain departmental technical guidelines and standard calculation notes.
