Collect information on sales achieved on a monthly basis to analyze the performance per product category. Prepare a report to highlight highest moving items in order to make the relevant purchase decisions. Receive, review and process, order requisitions from the sales department against the budgets. Place the purchase orders with the Suppliers. Coordinate with them to ensure timely and efficient processing and delivery. Coordinate with the Warehouse to ensure the purchased stocks are received as per the order. Monitor the purchase activity per product against the budget. Produce a variance analysis report of the stock and sales against budgeted figures and suggest corrective actions to the Purchase Manager. Develop and implement a quarterly ABC stock analysis to identify obsolete/slow moving stock. Probe for the reasons, inform the Purchase Manager and suggest action plan for liquidation of stocks. Monitor the increase/decrease in sales and control the processing of order proposals of the mark down items. Update the system wrt to the item codes, existing stocks, purchase orders etc and extract details as and when required by the Purchase Manager Co-ordinate regularly with sales department on sales achievement, customer profile and marketing intelligence to keep abreast of customer needs and provide recommendations to the Purchase Manager.Person :
Graduate in any discipline, preferably Commerce High levels of computer literacy Good communication, & inter-personal skills 3 to 5 years relevant experience, preferably in the automotive parts industry
