With a workforce of over 6500 multinational employees and four work sites, EKFC has a clientele of 120 airlines and airline hospitality lounges in Dubai International Airport as well as running a large off airport Food and Beverage business.

This key senior role should possess a strong change management focus and bottom line performance improvements will be achieved by developing, implementing and maintaining the food safety and occupational health and safety systems from a behavioral perspective. This influential role is pivotal to the success of sustaining exceptional operational hygiene standards ensuring a food safe environment in accordance with Government legislation, airline standards and customer expectations.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Support Services, your responsibilities will include:
-Management of the Hygiene and Safety departments comprising of hygiene, occupational health and safety and cleaning sections with a total of 450 staff, covering 2 flight catering units (100,000 meals per day), airline lounges, outlets event/function and concert catering.
-Developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships to ensure that all catering activities comply with all food safety and health & safety requirements as per World Food Safety Guidelines, local Dubai Municipality Health Authority regulations and airline requirements.
-Lead the ongoing development and implementation of the company OHS risk management system with a focus on behavioral safety.
-Develop and implement food safety, occupational health and safety and cleaning training programs.
-Lead airline and other third party health and safety audits.
-Management of the in house microbiology laboratory.
-Provide continuous improvement in the existing HACCAP food safety management system.
-Preparation of capital expenditure budgets for the department.
