Role Summary/Purpose
General Electric’s Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) is the premier leadership program within a company known for its talent development. Associate Auditors develop their skill set and learn GE through a minimum six rotations over two years after which they become part of the talent pipeline for GE’s various business units. Essential Responsibilities
Our auditors develop and execute financial, compliance and process audit plans across all GE Businesses as well as participate in internal investigations and support initiatives. They work as a constructive team to achieve group objectives while developing professional skills and leadership capabilities.
We are specifically looking for Auditors who will be covering our GE Businesses in the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Sahara Africa (Nigeria, Angola, Kenia and South Africa)
Qualifications/Requirements
-3-5 years working experience in finance, accounting, auditing or related field-Fluent in English-Fluent in Arabic -Demonstrated exposure to Middle East, North Africa or Sub-Sahara African countries-Strong analytical and risk assessment skills-Self motiviated, independent and able to execute with minimum supervision-Able to mult-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment-International travel up to 100%, as needed, for a minimum of two years-Able to work evenings and weekends as needed-No restrictions on entering the United States for training or business meetings

-Familiarity with US GAAP, SOX or IAS-Member of a chartered accountancy-Experience auditing or working in a Fortune 500 company
