Job Description:
Accountabilities:

Perform fieldwork, ad hoc review and project related work under the direction of the HoS

Supervise assignments as Job in charge (JIC) when required

Appraise the HOS/JIC on progress on assigned jobs

Review the work of team members, where acting as JIC

Preparation of Audit Planning memoranda, Risk Assessment documents and audit programmes, as directed

Developing audit observations identifying control deficiencies and related risk exposures for review by JIC, soliciting auditee responses when required

Assist in preparation of draft management/ad hoc review reports

Ensure application of departmental standards in work undertaken

Assist in the preparation/updating risk profile for assigned activities

Assist in OJT training and coaching of Junior/ Trainee Audit staff

Maintain and keep current assigned Risk/Control/ACL/TM libraries and permanent audit files.

Deputise for HOS when required.

As directed developed knowledge and analytical bases for areas of audit responsibility, maintaining market and product knowledge and identify areas of common interest for sharing with other teams.

Assist HoS/Deputy to compile periodic business reports for INA senior management

Develop and keep current knowledge, analytical and computer application skills

Experience: 5 – 10 Years

Education: Masters Degree

Responsibilities:
The Manager – Banking & Operations Audit, is responsible for supporting the Head of Section (HOS)/ Deputy/ JIC in providing Banking & Operations audit services. He/she will undertake Branch Operations audit reviews, project assignments and ad hoc review work as a team member on allocated assignments and when required deputise for his/her superiors in their absence. Reports to Head of Section

Experience:

At least 3 years post qualification experience in banking or financial services industry, preferably in audit capacity

Professional audit training

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant, CPA or qualified banker
