We are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to work from our Dubai base operations. Reporting to the Head of Logistics you will be responsible to plan, coordinate and control the marketing of the firm to achieve the agreed marketing, profitability, cash flow and business strategy within the UAE.As Business Development Manager your primary responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to:
Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for the company to an agreed annual targetAlign and implement business strategies, reliably. This includes prospecting, developing and closing strategic relationships and customer opportunities.Effectively plan, coordinate and control the UAE businessAchieve budgets and financial targets.Maintain a high quality estimating capabilityAchieve project timelines and quality criteriaPossess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored.Create and be accountable for all client proposals and contractsResponding to tenders and requests in a timely mannerTo create & maintain KPIs to measure the performance & profitability and to report the same to the Head of Logistics, justifying any shortfalls thereinNegotiating rates and service levels with customers & service providers
