Job Description: Dubai based Procurement and Engineering Company seeking high profile candidates to fulfill position based on the following requirements:
Provide business support in Commercial and Contractual Law by securing profitable and low risk contracts, overseeing obligations and compliance and ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.
Experience: 1 – 5 Years
Education: Bachelors Degree
Responsibilities:
1. Respond to contractual elements of proposals.
2. Assist with contract negotiations with Customers and Suppliers.
3. Draft terms and conditions and customer / supplier model contracts.
4. Act as first port of call on contractual and legal matters relating to customer and supplier contracts.
5. Provide input to Bid Management and tender process (Open Procedure, Restricted
6. Procedure and the new Competitive Dialogue Procedure).
7. Ensure Consistent Contract Documents and effective Contract Management.
8. Oversee customer/subcontractor complaints resolution, disputes, PI and product insurance issue, etc.
Skills:
1. Minimum, Bachelor in Law, preferably in Contractual Law or International Law
2. Good knowledge of international and local trade and customs rules and regulations, UCP, Incoterms, are a prerequisite.
3. Experience of negotiating and/or writing commercial contracts within International Trade rules and regulations and identifying & mitigating risks within commercial contracts agreements.
4. Qualification with 2–5 years post qualification commercial experience are an advantage.
