Job Description:
AES Cargo Dubai is looking for an experienced operations manager for their UAE freight forwarding division. AES Cargo is a leading project forwarding company with core activities involving transport to/from Central Asia and Middle East in the Oil&Gas and Military/Diplomatic Industries. We are looking for someone to strengthen our transport network in Dubai and the region to satisfy our clients’ growing requirements.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day activities of ongoing and new projects
- Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers
- Liaising and coordinating with Headquarters and regional field offices
- Managing staff training issues
- Project management
- Motivating other members of the team
- Developing business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
Successful applicant will have 5+ years professional experience in freight forwarding / transportation in the region, and will already be located in Dubai.
