Job Description:
– Thai Chef required to work in Alberta, Canada
– The applicant must have a 3 years experienced at NVQ Level 3 or above. Main duties include managing the operation of a Thai Kitchen and the preparation and production of Authentic Thai food, preparing Thai home–made sauces, dips, Thai desserts and cooking a variety of complex dishes, ensuring all dishes are prepared cooked and presented to a high standard;
– Creating and developing menu choices;
– Creating and producing new food recipes;
– Monitoring and minimizing food waste;
– Responsible for rotating stock movement and co–coordinating replacement of stock orders;
– Motivating and managing the kitchen staffs performance, recruiting new kitchen staff & preparing staff rotas.
– Ensuring a high standard of care and maintenance with kitchen auxiliary equipment and finally responsible for setting and agreeing budgets and cost savings;
– Hygiene Supervision, Health & Safety, Risk Assessment and for the smooth running of the kitchen and the welfare of the customers.

Experience: 5 – 10 Years

Education: Bachelors Degree
