Job Description:
The role:
Find and equip offices and warehousing, implement business systems and business processes so that RM is able to trade.
Recruit, manage and provide effective leadership to a team of high calibre staff to support the business, including purchasing, warehousing and logistics, customer liaison, order management, installation and technical support services.
Ensure the business runs smoothly from day to day and delivers high levels of customer satisfaction with its business operations.
Continually improve business systems and processes to enable the business to build on its success and deliver an expanded product and solution offerings.
Ensure the business has the capability to deliver strategic products and services in line with specific large government contracts.
Support the business planning process and overall strategic direction of the business.

Responsibilities:
Headquartered in the UK, RM supplies world–class ICT solutions to the education sector. As part of our aggressive global growth plans, we are seeking a talented COO who will be instrumental in building a strategically important new business venture to be based in Dubai, UAE. Working as part of the companys Operating Board, you’ll be responsible for building the business operations in the UAE and throughout the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. The role will involve establishing RMs operations, developing best in class business systems and processes, recruiting high–calibre staff, ensuring the business runs smoothly from day to day and delivers an outstanding customer experience, whilst providing strategic commercial and operational direction. This therefore represents an immense opportunity for a talented COO to make their mark in a high profile environment, with significant opportunities for career progression as the business expands both across the territory and globally.

The individual:
Of graduate calibre, youll have a strong background in operational management and a proven track record of delivering in a fast–paced environment.
Sound knowledge of procurement, operations and logistics and customer management.
Results–driven, commercially focused, adaptable, innovative and able to drive business change.
Strong business leadership and people management skills are essential, with previous board–level experience highly desirable.
Flexibility to work at both high level strategic and more detailed operational levels, adapting accordingly with the demands of a fast–growing business.
A track record of sound judgement and decision–making, solid planning & organisational skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships quickly and influence at board–level.
Highly personable and down to earth approach with considerable drive, energy, entrepreneurial spirit, a sense of humour and a willingness to get involved as required in a small, fast growing business.
High level of gravitas with the aptitude to understand the dynamics of the business and the passion to enthuse others.
