Jobs in UAE – For one of our largest clients, Huntress International, global leader in the recruitment market is urgently looking for CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CTO)/ HEAD OF IT to be based in U.A.E.

Role requirements:
Candidate must be comfortable operating in a fast moving entrepreneurial culture and have a hands-on style and the robustness to cope with change and ambiguity.

Structure: The CTO must work closely with the business at all levels to gain a better understanding of the issues that they face, and then use this knowledge to create an IT organisational structure that can deliver optimum levels of service

Governance: The CTO will implement appropriate mechanisms to facilitate the prioritisation of IT projects company-wide according to agreed business objectives.

Strategy: The CTO must develop a strategic vision for IT, together with supporting architecture and development roadmap, which will meet the Group’s requirement over the next three to five years.

Talent: The CTO must ensure that the Group has in place recruitment, selection and training processes to develop excellent IT leaders for the future.

Service: The CTO will ensure that the IT function delivers service to the business in the most efficient and effective way, establishing SLA’s, KPI’s and performance metrics that the business
Relationships with the Business: The CTO will establish close productive working relationships at senior levels so that IT is seen as a valued partner, and not as a standalone specialist function. The CTO will provide advice to the CEO and senior leadership team on the impact of IT on the Group’s business.

Sourcing: The CTO must build and maintain value-added relationships with all key suppliers and at the same time, consider the business case for outsourcing
