Job Description:
– CIVIL MANAGER – Oversees construction of the project, leads all staff in the construction, provides leadership to the project staff and ensures quality and safety.
– Makes decisions concerning problems with the discipline on the project.
– Represents the discipline on the project and with the client to resolve technical questions as required to coordinate work.
– Performs general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions.
– Responsible for the timely completion of the Project and maintaining constant communication with the client.
Experience: 10+ Years
Education: Bachelors Degree
Responsibilities:
– Manages and ensures technical compliance with the contract, codes and standards;
– Develop detailed Project Contract status report;
– Assist in the development of a project site logistics plan;
– Assist in the development of thorough updates of the project schedule;
– Implement applicable safety programs;
– Ensure civil components of projects are installed within the agreed standards, specifications, scope, and schedule in a manner which is compliant with the company standards for safety, environment, and community relations;
– Develop, implement, and manage civil component data gathering operations ensuring civil infrastructure and foundations are constructed in compliance with all applicable policies, rules, laws, and government regulations within project scope and operation;
– Lead the projects quality process; Represent the company with key clients during project reviews.
Skills:
– BS, Civil Engineering;
– 15+ years of Civil Construction experience;
– Experience with Civil projects including power plants and substations and other related projects;
– General knowledge of construction principles/practices;
– Familiarity with industry codes and standards including European codes and standards;
– Experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self–perform work;
– Experience leading successful project team, including development of employees and maintaining relationships with external entities;
– Middle East experience preferred.
