Jobs in UAE – The Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for the overall accounting, reporting, budgeting and financial control functions of HMES in Dubai and its regional offices. In addition they will be responsible for managing the Administration and IT departments and ensuring the compliance of all business legal processes.This position is central to the growth of HMES and the CFM will work closely with the CEO, General Managers and partners in Europe to ensure HMES is able to deliver plan. Lead the creation, coordination, and evaluation of the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, and conservation of assets. Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company. Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and that records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, and position control documents, department budgets, mass salary updates, ledger, account maintenance and data entry. Prepare a consolidated yearly budget, along with monthly and quarterly budget reviews for the company. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, financial projections and information reports. Provide weekly cash flow projections Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures. Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards. Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations. Manage working capital for the company by analyzing cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business management. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas. Develop and maintain relationships with the core banks for the company. Build key partnerships and help drive improvements in financial and operational processes. Identify opportunities and barriers to achieving current and future strategic objectives. Create and manage other company branches in preparation of month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis, and preparing reports in their preferred format.Operations, Warehouse and Transport Manage all inventory, fixed assets and associated depreciation. Managing and maintenance of the fleet of company vehicles, vehicle rentals, branding, Salik, registration, etc. Managing logistics support for Operations and Warehouse, including shipping documentation preparation and processing Ensuring all legal documentation and insurances for the Company pertaining to business is up to date, at all timesClient Services Assist in the development of sales and margin forecasts and budgets. Regular reporting of variance analysis on sales and margin performance and distribution of regional scorecards. Support the Account Managers with invoicing in collections to ensure debt is kept to a minimum.Department Management Direct management of Department Heads- Client Services Manager, Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager (once appointed) Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Supply guidance, leadership and inspiration to dept. staff and help them to define and achieve their individual goals as well as HMES Drive the development and compliance of working procedures and HMES code of conduct Mentor and inspire staff in HMES best practice Liaise with the HR Department to drive the People Development and Training Agenda to ensure that all staff are equipped to deliver within their role and attrition levels remain lowGeneral Management Work with the Senior Management Team (CEO, GM Structures, GM of Design) to develop and implement processes that ensure the infrastructure of HMES is robust enough to deliver on the business plan
