Jobs in UAE: - Define the annual communications strategy and set-up / measure targets

- Adjust strategy with relevant entities / stakeholders

- Provide guidelines on corporate identity and ensure compliance with corporate identity

- Review and endorse high-level communication plan as well as approve detailed communication plan

- Ensure editing quality of external communications

- Enforce content quality assurance and ensure the comprehensive delivery of the campaign

- Propose specific communication and PR initiatives

- Manage the overall implementation of the communication plan detailed by the Communication section

- Coordinate with other directors and managers to define communications needs, provide prioritization

- Liaise with Channel Manager to ensure appropriate branding of ADSIC to catalyst organization of the e-modernization guide

- Coordinate production and distribution of regular ADSIC publications (e.g., Abu Dhabi annual e-Gov survey)

- Crystallize communication requirements based on communication strategy and entities / stakeholders, including:

- Define communication needs and detail the ADSIC communication plan with regards to:

- Definition of internal and external target groups

Skills

Experience/Domain:

- At least 7 years of work experience in communication, 2 of which ideally within an IT organization or similar relevant experiences (corporate communications, public relations, advertisement, etc.)

- Experience in working with government entities

- Experience in public relations and / or public affairs

- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi government landscape preferable

- Founded experience in managing staff (> 10)

Skills/Capabilities:

- Very good understanding of corporate communication requirements within government entities and for Abu Dhabi community at large

- Comprehensive network and relationships with representatives of press and other media

- Eloquent speaking ability

- Fluent and literate in Arabic and very good English language skills

- Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)

- Entrepreneurship and managerial skills
