Jobs in UAE: Multinational client is currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer with strong internal controls experience.This role will sit within the Shared Service Centre, and will primarily be involved in making sure the compiance and internal control processes are up to a high standard.The responsibilities will include-Ensure a proper implementation of the ICS-SOx framework in UAE and ensure its effectiveness in terms of policies, procedures and control standards.Follow up on any non-compliance issue, which may arise.-Support Finance manager and Business Controllers to implement and maintain the ICS-SOx framework.-Drive proper execution (according to defined harmonized work instruction) of the ICS controls and ensure proper documentation of controls with all staff involved.-Co-drive follow up on corrective action plans for non compliance issues.-Execute annual scope check and mapping exercise and follow up on any resulting control issue.-Setup of the Internal Control Framework and ensure the ICSSOx adherence, review and monitoring cycle and prepare consolidation and quarterly statement s on ICSSOx.

Skills

Proven experience in an audit internal control environment with knowledge of the internal controlSOx framework, administrative organization, audit procedures and project management.The candidate must be able to work independently, objectively with the utmost integrityExcellent communication and presentation skills, networker and team workerAbility to work and engage across hierarchical levels.Ability to link internal controls with underlying business processes and vice versa.Open minded, change agent.Fluent in English.
