Jobs in UAE – Role Purpose:
• The Enterprise Data Warehouse Project (EDW) Manager primary role is in planning, solution design, solution optimization and implementing EDW.
• EDW manager is responsible for defining the architecture framework and application solutions. He or she will also provide technical oversight to complex and high-impact application initiatives.
• Ensures the implementation of Data Warehouse using the best fit optimum technology, in conjunction with the team, ITD and Vendors in the agreed time frames.
• Provides guidance for the configuration and installation of software required in the BI and EDW area. Guides application solution design, development, and deployment as required ensuring all solution components are working as designed to meet the performance Service Level Agreement.
• Provides guidance in the tuning of BI and EDW solutions to ensure acceptable performance per established objectives. Participate in the workload management activities in an active data warehouse environment.
• Ensures the implementation of relevant and recommended applicable CRM PMO standards or other suitable standards for the IT Infrastructure in terms of, but not limited to, Operational Planning, Availability Planning, Change Control Planning by the Team Leaders,
• Monitor the Work schedule and Resource allocation done by Team Leaders with an objective to ensure that the resources are utilized in an optimum manner to achieve the unit goals.
• Ensures and monitors that the availability and performance targets are met for all applications under the unit.
• Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
• Periodically reports to CRM PMO detailing milestones, targets and issues
