-The Director carries direct functional and disciplinary responsibility for employees within his / her division. Furthermore, he / she ensures strategic and financial planning including operational targets, for the division as a whole and aligns with ADSIC’s leadership
-The Director is part of the organization’s leadership team and thereby contributes to the strategic direction of ADSIC as a whole

Skills
Experience/Domain:
Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a management position, of which at least 5 in an administrative support environment or similar relevant experiences
3-5 years leadership experience; sole responsibility for the human resource management of at least ten employees
Experience in overall responsibility for a budget of at least 4m US-$ p. a.
Excellent network within the relevant industry / government sectors
Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi specific environment preferable, e. g.:
Terms of trade and typical behavior within vendor-purchaser relationships
General overview regarding legal requirements (IT, HR, Finance, etc.)
Good knowldege of strenghts and weaknesses of local employees and their specific training needs
Skills/Capabilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Arabic)
Excellent organization as well as communication, analytical and social skills
Strong management skills and experience in liaising effectively with other divisions; proven track record of development and management of SLAs
Basic knowledge of legal matters for a well-founded cooperation with the Legal Adviser and the top management (labor law, civil service law, purchasing law, e-laws, etc.)
Active Chartered Financial Accountant (CFA) and Project Management Certificate (e. g. PMP or PRINCE II)
Proven active vendor relationships and ability to grow relevant network
Service orientation and entrepreneurship with a large organization and in a start-up environment alike
Good proficiency in using ERP (Oracle / SAP) and Microsoft Office applications
