Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to- Write press releases and feature stories related to the company’s activities for publishing in local, regional and international media Develop content as directed for the company internal corporate communication such as internal newsletter, corporate memor and a, other items on an as needed basis Develop content as directed for the company's external corporate communication such as corporate brochure, annual report, membership magazine and other items on an as needed basis Develop content for video news releases, as well as alternative media such as networking sites Document and record media coverage related to the company's business Liaise with local and regional media professionals to pitch the company's related content for publication Attend assigned meetings and conferences as required Keep abreast of professional developments such as new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth. Working Environment Work is performed in an office work environment Work will also include excursions outside the office to paces relevant to the content under development Internal contacts with all company’s Departments External Contacts Journalists, reporters, and editors of local media.
