The Electrician Senior is to plan, supervise & run all the electrical requirements & activities for diesel generators at the sites as well as at the workshop.
Detailed Tasks:
• Job Orders & Orders Processing: According to the task distribution set by the Technical Manager and under the workshop Senior supervision, execute the inspections, services, repairs & tests required for diesel generators in & out door.
• Job Cards: Filing for the failed customers generators.
• Local purchases for operations: Request from the Technical Manager the need for local purchases for operations for approval & submission to the Workshop Senior for processing.
• Preventive Maintenance.
• Generators repairs.
• Tools Lists: Assist the Maintenance Administrator in checking & keeping his tools.
• Commissioning: Conduct and approve the commissioning for the pre-delivery generators.
• Synchronization: Familiar with preparing, installing programming & tuning the jobs required for synchronization between more than one generators.
• Projects: Has the ability to assist the technical manager in visiting sites, inspection, prepare installation plan, pricing, execution, follow up & test.
• Training: Has the systematic skills to train the Electrician Juniors to be ready to support his activities.
• Latest Technology: Willing to learn the latest technology of diesel generators which consists of: electrical, electronic, mechanical & computer based gensets.
• Travel: Willing to travel in our region to handle installations, troubleshooting & synchronization.
Functional relationships:
The Electrician Senior is to secure periodical contacts with the Sales Seniors & Engineers so as to learn from them about the jobs real requirements and delivery priorities. He is also to secure such a relationship with the Administration Department due to the interrelation of the purchasing activity with his. In addition to daily consistent relation with the Maintenance Administrator.
