Jobs in UAE – Our client one of the region largest construction and engineering groups in the UAE is looking to recruit an Estimator to assist the Commercial Manager in preparation of accurate estimates for different elements of Architectural Aluminium works Projects and recommend a competitive price to maximize success.
It is expected that you will be working alongside the QS and technical departments evaluating tenders and costs whilst maintaining contact with suppliers to obtain best price and ensuring proper information is presented from the client/contractor and consultants involved.
Involvement in Pre-bid negotiations is expected to obtain a full understanding of the project to ensure no errors occur at tender stage that will have a big impact in later stages.
The candidate should be degree qualified or at least diploma qualified in a civil or architectural subject from a reputable institution. It is expected that the candidate can offer 5 years technical knowledge in the Aluminium and metalwork industry, with a minimum of 3 years in an estimation role.
