They are seeking the services of a Finance & Administration Director Dubai

One of the worlds market leaders in providing Support Services to organizations operating in remote locations is currently seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Finance & Administration Director to take on full responsibility for all financial and contractual aspects of the business. This role will be based in Dubai.

Experience in ALL of the following must be highlighted in your CV in order to be considered:
1. US GAAP
2. IFRS
3. FAR

Responsibilities

– Managing all aspects of accounting & finance and ensuring reliable financial services support to all operations across several locations
– Coordinating overall P+L of contracts involving different business units and responsible for monthly/yearly statutory closing according to US GAAP and IFRS
– Coordinating and validating financial bids and requests for proposals
– Coordinating and validating monthly forecasts through regular liaison with operational controllers in overseas locations
– Setting–up adequate control mechanisms throughout the business, oversight of all external audits, closely monitoring all inter–company charges
– Liaising with US financial authorities and statutory auditors with regards to regulations governing the US based legal entity
– Preparation of business plans and investment applications
– Regular visits to all operations in Afghanistan and other remote locations

Knowledge and
Skills:

– Professional degree in Business Administration / Finance e.g. CMA, CIMA or equivalent
– Strong expertise in Financial Control, preferably in a logistics or military context.
– Well–experienced in US GAAP, IFRS & FAR
– Hands–on mentality, able to drive change and improvement in all relevant areas
– Willingness to travel to Afghanistan and other troubled regions
– Fluent English communication skills. (English must be a native language)
