Accounts
To manage the day to day activities of the Accounting and Finance Department.
To ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly financials for the group.
To ensure accuracy of all accounting entries before posting in GPS.
To ensure periodic review and analyses of account details.
To ensure existence and implementation of internal control policies.
To ensure timely preparation of management reports and schedules.
To ensure timely completion of external audit through proper coordination and efficient submission of documents and schedules required by the auditors.
Finance
To ensure sufficient funding on operations requirements.
To strictly monitor cash flows of the company.
Responsible for dealing with banks on all banking matters.
Responsible for obtaining and renewal of credit facilities with bank and responding to all queries and requirements of the bank.
To ensure continued cash flow from operations, particularly on collections from Internal Piping clients.
System
To ensure maximization of GPS usage for the whole group.
To ensure standard application of the system among the companies.
Responsible for creating and updating the Financial Reporting System of the group.
To ensure continued development and improvement on the GPS to meet the requirements of each companies.
Procurement
To review Purchase Orders in compliance with company policy and procedures.
To review inventory transactions entries before posting to GPS.
To ensure accuracy of inventory level per book against actual, though periodic inventory count activity.
Budgets, Reports and Others
Responsible for drafting group’s operational and capital budgets and forecasts for approval of the Top Management.
Preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis and to develop other reports as needed and requested by management.
To develop standard accounting policies and procedures throughout the department.
