Job Role
a) Develops and manages action plans to execute category strategies and processes in relation to vendor management, promotion planning, assortment management, price management and business performance.
b) Develops and manage strategic supplier relationship on a global level
c) Responsible for budget development and drives towards the financial goals
d) Review stock levels and supply commitments
e) Development of financial plans and forecasting of wide range of product categories.
f) Develop category layout, fixturing and display strategies in support of achieving maximum financial return on space.
g) Responsible for managing a team of buyers
Candidate Profile
1) Degree in Electronics / Computers
2) MBA from a reputed Institute
3) Minimum 15yrs of experience in retail or distribution or working with Principles out of which at least 3 years as Head of Function
4) Excellent vendor relationships coupled with aggressive negotiation skills
5) In previous roles should be talking directly with the brands
6) Creative approach to problem solving
7) High energy and good leadership
Passion for retailing and good knowledge of electronic products
Salary
Negotiable as per the skills and competencies of the candidate.
