Job Description: 1. Develop Technical HSE Design & Engineering Vision, Objectives, Systems & Plan for Foster Wheeler Indian Operations.
2. Set–up and establish a new Technical HSE Division and resource the group with adequate manpower for its engineering centers across India.
3. Lead the Technical HSE Work Division in India and guide sub–groups such as design safety, fire protection systems design and environmental protection in carrying out detailed engineering work for large sized projects
4. Develop technical capabilities and skills that are essential for carrying out design and engineering activities during FEED and EPC stages of a project with specific reference to Oil & Gas, refinery, Petrochemical, fertilizer, Chemical, Power & Gas Plants
5. Execute technical work for FEED and Detailed Designs (designs, specifications, drawings, etc.) within designated CTR scopes
6. Develop / manage the preparation of HSE safety designs and philosophies, site environmental data, Consequence Analysis Reports, Fire and Explosion Reports, and other risk assessment reports, project HSE plans, procedures and work practices on projects.
7. Ensure that THSE scope of work on projects executed and ensure that the procedural, technical, regulatory, licensors requirements are met in the areas of process safety, fire protection and environment
8. Coordinate with projects and planning on project time schedules, establish target completion dates , ensure target dates are achieved
9. Develop Manpower plan, delivery schedules, assign and distribute manpower for the execution of engineering activities. Monitor overall manpower costs prescribed within the allotted budget
10. Monitor technical accuracy on all assigned projects from Technical HSE view point
11. Maintain effective interfaces and relationships within / between disciplines, and peers in other EP Projects teams and Assets
12. Conduct design safety reviews, HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, inputs to Hazardous Area classification, preparation of escape routes, preparation of Hazardous material Schedule, Coordinating QRA Studies, Fire protection Design works, Cause & Effects Charts, Environmental Design works
13. Coordinate resources and tools to execute the works and activities
14. Liaison clients and contractors as required
15. Chair HAZID/ENVID and HAZOP studies
Experience: 10+ Years
Education: Bachelors Degree

1. Leading a team of HSE Professionals and nurturing, mentoring them to realize their potential and give their best.
2. Influencing all levels of management for carrying out HSE Improvement on Continual basis.
3. Developing, Coordinating and Implementing, monitoring Project Specific HSE Plans and Procedures.
Skills:
Experience in Health, Safety & Environment at National & International projects which includes Project Construction, Refineries, and Oil & Gas Projects.
