Jobs in UAE – Our client, a Middle East based institute of science and technology, with a focus on advanced energy and sustainable technologies is looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to join its team in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E).

Responsibilities:
• Provide injury trend analysis to focus on prevention efforts.
• Ensure health and safety at the present location of the institute.
• Identify health and safety training needs and deliver/coordinate training.
• Work with faculty and staff to develop and implement action plans to prevent accidents.
• Provide technical services such as Job Hazard Analysis, Industrial Health testing, environmental monitoring and risk assessments.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field; though a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years experience as a health and safety professional in a higher educational institution in the GCC.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
