Jobs in UAE: Interior Designer (Events) required to work for a leading event management company based in Dubai. The purpose of this role is to supply innovative, creative solutions for event interiors and decor. In addition you will have responsibility from inception through production to finished event of all interior finishing and creative items required.Your responsibilities will include Taking client brief for event design jobs from Account Manager andor client Close liaison with Account Manager on all interior finishing, creative and customized elements for a project Preparation of costings for all creative elements Preparation of client presentation for creative concept Attendance at relevant client meetings and site checks Generation and development of creative solutions to meet clients brief eg, lighting, furniture layout, decor, flowers etc Development of concepts. Space planning to include structural elements. Preparation of moodboards and creative presentation for client (Powerpoint) Production of CAD Plans and 3D Modelling images using Sketch Up and Autocad. Briefing of CAD Architect when necessary for preparation of layouts and renderings Sourcing of all creativecustomized elements involved with an event from furniture, fabrics to accessories Sourcing and developing creative concepts and reference materials for Creative Library Collaboration with suppliers eg Florist on all creative aspects Attendance at Trade Shows Building constant awareness of supplier and market stock Project Management and responsibility for all creative elements involved in a project Preparation of all costings for Account Manager, obtaining estimates from suppliers Liaison with and briefing all HQ departments in particular Tailoring and Carpentry for customized items Completion of all necessary paperwork and following admin systems Liaison with all sub contractors on build

Skills

The successful candidate will have 5+ years experience in a creative environment interior design, exhibitions stand design, set building etc. Project Management skills important. You will be computer literate, with the ability to use Powerpoint, Sketch Up, Autocad and Excel.
