Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, your primary function is to ensure that the IT Infrastructure is fully operational at all times and to provide unconditional support to all users and the IT team.Your main responsibilities will includeProviding IT helpdesk support to all office users and following best practices and procedures to ensure IT security at all timesResponsible for the data and application backups, testing and procedures and managing the disaster recovery setup and VSAT installationsConfiguring and monitoring the firewalls and routersArranging and coordinating IT activities with the service providers and the IT team.Managing the IT networking and connectivity for the entire site and installing the necessary software, antivirus and operating systemsMonitoring and reviewing working IT practices to maximise performance and productivityCompiling and maintaining all necessary records, reports and log booksEnsuring that all procedures and working practices adhere to those defined in International Operations ManualCoordinating the maintenance and procurement of all IT related equipmentEnsuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with company Environmental, Health and Safety policyManaging the hosting of all the web application and providing remote connectivity to outside usersUndertaking other duties that may from time to time prove necessary.
