Responsibilities:
The new operational account manager is a motivated, analytical and commercially oriented person, who will be responsible for a subset of accounts across countries in the Middle East and North Africa region.
He/she will contribute actively to iBasis’ business targets using proven sales and purchase skills to support and guide the commercial activities of iBasis. The operational account manager will be working in MENA sales team and reports directly to the Director MEA.
Sales Account Management
o Managing the relationships with our existing customers and suppliers on a day-to-day basis;
o Managing the sales margin on a customer level by actively looking for new/extra margin, either through selling hubbing minutes or by creating bilateral deals
o Developing an extensive relationship with new potential, valuable customers/suppliers;
o Working closely together with his or her team members and all other involved departments within iBasis
Operational Account management
Link Streaming/Routing with Trading Ops and Sales.
o Check routing and chase Streaming
o Check cost reporting and chase Rate Mod and suggest Routing accordingly
o Check Floors and Traffic Reviews and chase Sales and Trading Ops
o Occasionally send rates out to Customers
o Chase the various time-consuming processes that are far from perfect today, like Contracts, Reporting, Provisioning
o Supports the business development activities
