Jobs in UAE: Infusion consultants develop enterprise applications that power some of our clients most mission-critical systems. We are currently looking for Lead Engineer, Application Support to manage the team supporting an application we are writing for a major airline in Dubai.
The Job
· Manage and lead a 2 to 5 person team that support a variety of clients using applications built on various cutting edge technologies.
· Work face to face and manage the relationship with the clients throughout the project, to understand their problems and deliver quality customer service.
· Provide front line troubleshooting and handle ongoing application development and maintenance
· You will spend half of your time growing your team by assisting the Technical Support Engineers managing problems that may arise
· Rise to the challenge, think on your feet, and problem solve
Prioritize and manage ticket escalation, meeting the required deadlines for ticket resolution.
· Maintain the support ticket logging system and produce regular reports that provide detailed information on call trends and call times.
The Skills
· The successful applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related science focused field of study (computer science, engineering, mathematics, etc) and must have an established record of successfully leading and supervising teams of highly skilled and highly motivated support engineers and developers.
· The successful applicant must be proficient in C# and have solid foundational knowledge of the .NET Framework (versions 2.0 and 3.5) as well as at least one commercial DBMS (SQL, Oracle, etc).
· The candidate must have experience managing and leading teams
