The Lead Security Architect is responsible for providing architectural and technical guidance to applications security. In addition this person will design, plan and implement secure coding practices and security testing methodology. This person will be responsible for ensuring that projects follow the standards and principles as well as using their security knowledge to ensure the solution reflects security best practice and achieves a pragmatic level of IT security.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• A University degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 13 Years of experience in Information systems.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software security architecture and engineering.
• Appropriate security certification is required.
• Experience with security architecture related to protocols such as SNMP, HTTP, SOAP, SOA, Web Services.
• Working experience with current and emerging information security technologies and development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented manner with other leaders and team members.
• Experience in banking industry systems is desirable, but not mandatory.
• Fluent in English and Arabic is a plus.
