As a member of Nouran’s Project Department, the successful candidate will primarily focus on the following:
1. Sourcing new project opportunities where a high-quality/performance lighting system is required.
2. Developing relationships with lighting specifiers within the major engineering consultants.
3. Specifying a lighting solution through the project design consultant:
a. By supporting their technical needs (developing lighting studies through specialised lighting manufacturer software, creating autocad layouts using Nouran products etc).
b. Maintaining relationships by constantly updating them with the latest in cutting-edge lighting sources and solutions.
4. Contacting, coordinating and supporting the contractor with the job in-hand to ensure that the contractor purchases Nouran specifications.
a. Part of this role involves ensuring (through both technical comparisons as well as price discounts) that the contractor does not accept competing alternatives.
5. Aiding/convincing contractors with job in-hands to replace the specified products (represented by Nouran’s competitors) with Nouran’s alternatives.
6. Constantly taking advantage of Nouran’s vast knowledge/experience in lighting to stay abreast of the latest lighting technologies.
