The job holder will handle processes involved in a supply chain, liaising with a variety of parties including suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers and consumers. Play a key role in to forecasting increasingly complex systems of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and performance evaluation.
Principal Accountabilities (not exhaustive but representative of core tasks):
• monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
• coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems
• analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand
• allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs
• liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers
• develop business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions
• Control transportation, stock control, warehousing, and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials
• Follow up the profitability and logistic costs dashboard (set of KPI) and establishes required action plans for the logistic objectives achievement
• Assure the follow-up of supply activities (national and import), of warehousing and distribution, of upstream and downstream transports
• Exercise management and coordination functions with various company functions (mainly commercial department, purchasing, manufacturing, finance…)
• Strive to promote company brand and achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction and service improvement
