Job Description:
– Manages and ensures that assigned construction operations and subcontractors performance is in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
– Performs general functions inherent in all supervisory field positions.
– Provides back–up support to the Field Construction Manager.

Experience: 10+ Years

Education: Bachelors Degree

Responsibilities: – Manages and ensures technical compliance with contract, codes and standards; Performs inspections and documentation of work in progress on a continuing basis;
– Provides input to the quantity tracking applications and reports weekly installed quantities to Project Controls;
– Assists field procurement in inspection and receipt of materials; Assists project controls in preparation of short–term schedules;
– Executes field take offs from Issued For Construction drawings;
– Coordinates erection plan, sequence with project planners, supervision, and other disciplines;
– Manages and coordinates work activities of field engineering staff;
– Responsible for assuring contractor conformance with safety requirements.

Skills:

– BS, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience;
– Minimum 15 years of Mechanical field experience relating to construction of power plants (oil/gas fired) or similar industrial facilities;
– Knowledge of industry quality construction procedures and standards;
– Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications; Sound understanding of European codes and standards
