Purpose:
Carry out all mechanical maintenance and repair activities either on site or in the workshop on various types of machinery and equipment.
Principal Accountabilities:
a. Receive verbal or written instructions from Supervisor or Senior Technician, obtain specified materials, spare parts and tools.
b. Assist the Senior Technicians in carrying out maintenance, repair and overhaul of a variety of plant equipment.
c. Participate in periodic inspection of plant and equipment in accordance with preventive and routine maintenance schedules.
d. Dismantle, repair or replace parts, and re-assemble either on site or in the workshop. Carry out appropriate final tests under supervision.
HSE Requirements:
a. Attend tool box safety meetings.
b. Report unsafe maintenance practices to Superiors
c. Familiar with work permit precautions adheres to their requirement.
d. Maintain a clean & safe working environment at all times.
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off
