Jobs in UAE – Our client, a prestigious Middle East based insurance organization is looking for a Manager of Property and General Accident to join its dynamic team in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
• New products development and documentation for the line of business.
• Manage underwriting and operations of property and liability line of business.
• Liaise with surveyors, engineers and retakaful underwriters for risk evaluation and analysis.
• Develop sound underwriting guidelines and constantly review them to keep up with market changes.
• Support sales team with managing large accounts and ensure profitability of property and liability line of business.
Requirements:
• University degree in actuarial sciences, insurance, accounting or equivalent, ideally a professional qualification such as CA /CFA/ ACCA and a background in engineering is preferred.
• At least 10 years relevant working experience in operations of insurance and at least 3 years managerial experience in Takaful in a financial insurance institution in the GCC.
• Sound knowledge of general insurance/ Takaful products and risk assessment.
