Jobs in UAE – The Position: Guide, advise, and provide a range of professional hand and foot services for the customer. This position will assist within the spa and carry out the appropriate hand and foot treatments in a safe, professional and efficient manner. Recommend the sales of a wide range of health and beauty products to their customers. Provide support services to the unit, which includes effectively handling of incoming telephone calls, co-ordinating treatment reservations, general admin duties and support duties (house keeping) for the unit.
Duteis & Responsibilties
Greet, receive, assist all visitors and guests to the Spa and advise guests on its range of services, treatments and facilities. Be familiar with treatments and the items available for sale at the Spa
Carry out the hand and foot treatments while making recommendations to the guests, maintaining dialogue and service advice according to the exact procedures for those specific hand and foot treatments. Follow a well-organised and prepared schedule of treatments and facilities for each guest, be personally responsible for managing the range of guest activities which includes treatment reservations, billing, preparation of facilities and products, clearing and cleaning of facilities and treatment areas at conclusion of services. Hand and foot treatments refer to any hand and foot massages, including manicures and pedicures.
Ensure that guests receive and have access to all spa facilities and individual treatment requirements. Actively promote and execute the hand and foot spa services, and sales of product ranges which are retailed within the spa or any assigned workplace, with integrity, honesty, and skill.
Liaise and co-ordinate arrangements with various other units such as housekeeping services, laundry and cleaning services, maintenance and Food & Beverage to ensure that each guest receives consistent and comprehensive services.
Ensure the individual and general spa work areas are kept supplied with the full range of treatment and sales products, and that all these work areas are maintained in a neat, professional, hygienic, and safe manner. Health and Safety inspections and standards of operation are to be maintained at all times.
Pass on all relevant information (including complaints) to the Spa Manager.
To represent the image of the Emirates Hotels & Resort services, its ideals, and its policies by maintaining the groomed, professional and open appearance in dealing with all visitors. At all times, assisting in the promotion of the hotel/resort or the designated spa outlets through guest contact and to ensure a friendly, informal and polite relationship between guests and other staff. The job holder should be up to date with all standards and procedures maintained by the workplace.
Ensure that levels of waste of products and materials are minimal thereby keeping in line with the units overall expense budget.
