Supervise and coordinate the operation of the Field Control Centre (FCC) which controls and monitors field facilities which include wellhead platforms, satellites, water injection plant, gas treatment plant, and utilities of central complex & ACPT’s. Ensure that production targets are achieved and standing instructions are followed.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Supervise the operation of the complete process plant and utilities as per plan and written or oral instructions from supervisors.
2. Diagnose the plant and equipment problems and put it up to the concerned maintenance sections.
3. Take necessary measures within standing orders to deal with planned and unforeseen plant operating fluctuations & keep all personnel involved fully informed of changes implemented.
4. Keep informed of the results of quality control tests and take remedial actions, if required.
5. React to emergency situations when they occur, assess the situation, declare emergency, take corrective actions, shutdown the plant partially or fully and coordinate all actions. Restart the plant after the situation normalizes and prepare a detailed report.
6. Ensure good communication with outside agencies during plant upsets.
7. Follow-up plant review studies and initiate any modifications.
8. For new projects being undertaken, give comments & responses.
9. Involvement in calculations of daily production figures and balances for daily reporting.
10. Close watch on all activities to confirm to HSE commitment and policy for safe operation of all plants.
