Job Description:
They are looking for nurses who can meet the following requirements :
Bachelors Degree ( 4 year or 3 year)
– Minimum 3 years of work experience ( 4 or more preferred)
IELTS score of 6 points and above (or ability to score this high) prior to visa application and 6.5 bands ( with 7 speaking) prior to commencing
employment in Canada
The Employer/Position details are as follows:
– Position is of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ( note that in Canada LPN is a highly skilled job
– Salary is $22–$26 CAD per hour depending upon qualifications
– This is a permanent full time job offer
– The employer will sponsor a Permanent Resident Visa application for the nurse and his/her family if applicable
– The employer is located in British Columbia, Canada
– The work is in elderly care homes
They will provide the following services:
– Act as the liaison between nurse and the employer to finalize the offer of employment
– Coordinate with the employer to obtain an Arranged Employment Opinion (AEO) from HRDC.
– Prepare and submit the nurses application for a permanent resident
visa to Canada
– Assist the nurse in obtaining an interim permit to practice as a nurse with the BC LPN association.
– Arrival/relocation assistance in British Columbia.
– The processing time to obtain a permanent resident visa for Canada is currently taking 12 months on average for this type of visa.
– Only seriously interested persons who are willing to spend only need apply must be in a position to speak English fluently.
– Knowledge of French would be an added advantage. No of openings: 10.
– Age Not more than 35 years
– It is unlawful to live and work in Canada without a valid work permit.
– Please note that this position is on work permit and it is the candidate who will have to bear his work permit expenses and only such candidates who are in a position to spend need respond. They organize the job and PR under AEO scheme which is going on now.
