Position Title : Operations Manager

Reports to : General Manager

Location : U.A.E

Authorities and Responsibilities

1. Ensure the success of construction project execution. Authorized to allocate resources and make construction executions for assigned area in accordance with Policies, Guides and Contractor commitments.

2. Provide construction support for landscaping prospects, proposals, permit submittals, as well as ongoing constructability support for all phases of the project.

3. Direct administration of construction personnel for ongoing construction projects.

4. Develops construction execution plan for projects and proposals which minimizes cost and duration of construction activities.

5. Monitors, evaluates, and report performance of assigned construction projects to management.

6. Provides recommendations regarding project staff assignments/ teams.

7. Acts as liaison between offices for all construction related matters.

8. Advise on corrective action for discipline problems or poor performance within projects.

9. Enforces and interprets department policies, standards, and procedures.

10. Adheres to safety and quality standards as applicable to duties and accountabilities.

11. Assesses and supports the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.

12. Performs field review and inspection of assigned projects and improvement plans submitted to the client for approval.

13. Coordinates and assists in the preparation of contract documents, permitting, agreements, and related documentation.

14. Assists, participates, and coordinates public meetings, contractor meeting, consultant meetings, and other meetings related to functional area and project under charge.

15. Receives and evaluates customers and business complaints; coordinates the corrective action.

16. Conducts field reviews of completed projects to ensure adherence to established standards, plans, specifications, and related requirements.

17. Ensure and maintain customer satisfaction.

18. Analyses and respond to customer’s feedback.

19. Ensure achievement of company’s objectives and targets.

20. Supervises Project managers to ensure the project timetables, goals, and deadlines are met in an efficient and satisfactory manner.

21. Revise construction cost estimates.

22. Administers contracts, attends pre-construction conferences, reviews subcontractor pay requests and oversees construction operations.

23. Reviews and approves shop drawings; reviews project plan for constructability and make recommendations thereto.

24. Performs engineering economic analysis for construction and purchase alternatives.

25. Implement Quality Management System requirements.

26. Maintain Quality Record in orderly and accessible manner
