We are seeking experienced Paint Technicians to join our Automotive Division (Al Futtaim Motors or Trading Enterprises). The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
Producing excellent vehicle refinishing quality with good efficiency providing a key link to Customer Satisfaction and Company profitabilityRepairing and servicing of vehicles according to dealer/distributor standards and within flat rate timeReporting to body/paint shop foreman promptly on any additional work requiredProviding quality workmanship for customer satisfaction and retention to maintains the company and brand imageMinimising repeat jobsEnsuring proper handling of tools and equipment for maintenance of company propertiesDeveloping and maintaining cooperation with co-workers for quick completion of jobs by obtaining timely assistanceAnalysing problems of equipment and suggesting countermeasures as well as adherence to recommendations of Management and SOP on proper equipment handlingSuggesting improvements for bodyshop layout, processes and materials to enhance quality, productivity, profitability and customer satisfactionUnderstanding and disseminating technical information from principals and suppliersObtaining technical information from Body/Paint Shop Foreman on problem jobsAdhering to technical specifications as laid down by manufacturer, or as instructed by managementNoting the description of all work performed on the back of the repair order if requiredAccepting responsibility for supporting apprentices/helpers via training/explanation/ practice, the necessary skills required to perform the job correctly, thereafter to inspect/monitor the work and rectify any problems
