 Provide marketing intelligence input from a field sales perspective for product development to design and launch products appealing to the SME Banking Sector.

 Develop a sales strategy for designated territory. Recruit, lead, manage & motivate a sales team to achieve revenue against set targets for SME retail banking.

 Manage a team of RMs/ROs/CR Analysts. Allocate territory amongst RMs and ROs as per time & territory management principles and account development/importance criteria.

 Visit clients as needed to sustain business relationships. Make joint calls with RMs and ROs and perform on the job coaching to assess client needs, propose the Bank’s products and establish and develop accounts.

 Leverage the promotions of Bank’s other products to build sales in the SME Sector, receive/contribute leads and foster a culture of cross selling across the Bank.

 Monitor sales performance against targets and initiate action to remedy any performance gaps.

 Administer procurement management of the department’s requirement in terms of IT and stationery.
 Responsible for approving credit analysis (proposals) submitted by the Relationship Managers by reviewing the structure and pricing strategy.

 Advise the Credit Risk Department on the credit proposal format. Identify key risk indicators

 Identifying the training and developmental needs of the team. Motivating sale staff and guide them to maximize their productivity and career progreession.
 Regularly advise head of department on business strategy, achievement of business objectives and provide reports as necessary.

 Ensure that team members are compliant with Central Bank and internal regulations.

 Execute monthly exception reports.
