Develop process and layout design, process documentation, process flow diagrams and charts for operational processes. Suggest KPI’s / target to measure process performance for new customers. Monitor and improve the efficiency and quality of existing processes and develops proposals for improvement ensuring that the processes work at an optimum level in order to meet the customer needs Conducts time study, make observations and take measurements directly, as well as collecting and interpreting data from the technical and operations staff involved to record the time taken and initiate process improvement. Ensure that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations Works closely with other specialists like quality assurance, inventory control, operation, IT or planning to implement planned process improvements. Initiates and execute 6S projects to enhance workplace organization Apply ‘First Choice’ process improvement approach to plan and execute the projects ensuring continuous improvement of processes.Person Specification :
Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering Minimum 1 year experience in process implementation and design, preferably in the logistics and warehousing field. Prior experience in process improvement methodologies like LEAN, Six Sigma or Kaizen is a definite advanatge. Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills Demonstrated competence in MS Project, Access, and AutoCad is preferred. Effective analytical and problem solving skills Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
