JOB PURPOSE :
The Procurement Manager will have a team of 3 to 4 procurement executives reporting to him/her.These procurement executives will specialize by cateogry and manage the procurement of specific products/services for all Auto Group Companies. The Procurement Manager will be reporting to GM- Business Performance Improvement.Principal Accountabilities:
Standardization of Procurement Processes Support GM-BPI in implementing a standardized procurement processes across Automotive Group including Annual Rate Contracts Approved vendor list- approval criteria Item Catalogue Requisition workflow PO approval Expediting and Delivery Followup Develop vendor rating and feedback process Develop service level agreements with internal customers Cost Reduction and E-sourcing Ensure that all spend is filtered through the Ariba Screening Criteria Prepare a healthy sourcing pipeline through spend data analysis, categorization and continuous follow up with businesses Deliver the bottomnline savings as per the agreed KPI Ensure proper implementation of online bidding process Addition of new vendors Careful screening of vendors before on line bidding Total cost detailed RFQ Appropriate bidding formats Proper vendor training Cost breakdown details Transparent award processVendor Management Develop strategy for vendor development along with business Lead negotiations with vendors Develop standard vendor selection criteria Identify and select vendors for the business that meet the selection criteria Monitor vendor performance periodically and update approved listContracts Management Prepare standard templates for contracts- use Ariba Contracts Module Review and negotiate contractual agreements to ensure minimization of commercial risk and liability Ensure that all key commercial agreements are accurately reflected in the contracts Ensure that standard commercial clauses are captured in all contracts
