Procurement Officer – Goods at Executive Solutions

Purpose of Position

To assist Procurement Manager with the establishment and management of contract and procurement strategies specifically related to supply contracts to ensure the contractual delivery and compliance of service levels, statutory and regulatory, operational and maintenance requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Cross functional Team Member: Procurement officer for all supply goods;

2. To develop and manage master data to the internal customer’s requirements, dealing with internal customer queries;

3. Responsible to ensure that the master data for supply items are updated, as and when required;

4. Research, determine, develop and deploy appropriate business processes, systems and standards that enable Procurement operations to acquire cost effectively and efficiently the goods required in all TPQ locations;

5. Assist in the development of supply contract sourcing strategies. Act in a supportive procurement consultative role;

6. To act as procurement representative in respect of all Procurement support services to procurement and other departments;

7. To apply and promote sound commercial practice and to enforce commercial policy and procedures;

8. To act as ERP super user for procurement services interface with the supply module;

9. Actively participate in projects as procurement officer;

10. Drive continuous improvement within the procurement systems;

11. Ensure that all items regularly sourced are on contract. 90% of spend must be on contract;

12. Ensuring that the correct procurement documentation are prepared and completed;

13. Complete and submit monthly report to Director.
